Noah's Ark

Hello all my readress,

I think that lots of people already known the story of Noah’s Ark.  In the story of Noah’s Ark, he prove that he always obey to God. In Genesis 6:9-21, when God command him to build an ark, and he tell Noah exactly how to do it,  he do. When God command him to  take seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, and two of every kind of unclean animal, he obey to do. Noah also demonstrate unwavering obedience. He did not listen to what his neighbors must have said as he build his ark and collected the animals. He was not interested in their opinions. The only person he sought to please was God. In this story, God’s purpose in the flood is not to destroy people but to destroy wickedness and sin. God put a rainbow in the sky because the rainbow helps people remember God’s promise to Noah (Genesis 8:18-19).

ELT (Getting to Grips with Get)

           when I first read this blog, I was so confused because of the long paragraphs. I also did not understand about this blog.  But, I had to read all the blog because that is my assignment. Even though this blog has long paragraph, but this blog is so interesting. In this blog, I learned lots of things such as, get into line which indicates a change in position, he got drunk which indicates a change in state, they got a pay rise which indicates a change in possession. After I read this blog, I thought I had to read this blog again and again. Because this blog gave lots of vocabularies that very useful for me and others. Also this is very useful for English Teachers, English Learners and also students.

Becoming an English Teacher Using Quizlet Based on what I searched in Google, Quizlet is a free website which can make flashcards individually or in a group. The card can then be shared, reviewed online in a variety of ways, or printed for offline use. In addition to make your own sets of cards, Quizlet also give access to a database with miliion of flashcards and always ready to be used. The site allows groups to be created, allows students to work and communicate within their group.

Actually, it was the first time i studied this website. Miss priska is my CALL lecturer who teaches me about this website. I was feeling little bit confused because when my lecture gave the explanation step by step, my computer was still processing. That’s why I could not follow her explanations well. I asked my friend, Angela to help me. But, I am really enjoying this website because I can play lots of games, listen to the pronunciations, create my test practices, and learn new vocabularies. We have to know that this website is very accessible and so fun. This website really helps us to be a good high-technology teachers in the future. Because lots of good things that I got in this website, it makes me more diligen to learn more. The most important is Quizlet can be a way to study almost any subjects, plus it is free.

I will tell you some things before use the website. First, Sign up, then find and or create study sets fill the title, after that, fill at least five flashcards that connect with the title and describe them. In the right side, you add an image that match with the flashcards. After that, click in an auto-define. Here, we can add more sentence that match with our flashcards. Then, click on Create Set.. Finally, we can start to play the games.

Based on what I found in google, Quizlet have lots of benefits for teachers. For teachers: 1. Quizlet can be as an alternative tool to collect facts and information in the form of flashcards, such as vocabulary, historical dates, formulas, or any subject matters. 2. Quizlet can also be a teaching tool to help students exercise their mental process. 3. In teachers’ point of view as learners, Quizlet provides a wide range of study materials from various fields of studies. 4. Quizlet can be an assessment tool to follow student progress.
