back to my blog. Now I want to tell you about my Blendspace Activity.
Based on what I found
in Wikipedia, Blended learning is an educational program (formal or non-program)
that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods. It requires
te physical presence of both teacher and student, with some element of student
control over time, place, path, or pace. While students still attend “brick-and-mortar”
schools with a teacher present, face to face classroom practices are combined
with computer-mediated activities regarding content and delivery. Blended
learning is also used in professional development and training setting.
This program is very useful for students because there
are lots of good things. This program is designed for students to help them to
read more careful and understand about the story. Also, this program can
improve students in English skills, reading skills. And also the students
can get lots knowledge about histories.
This program is designed for students in elementary
schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools. The students have
to take this activity because it can help students know all about the history
of national heroes in Indonesia.
In this Blended Learning, there are fifteen interesting
activities that I can choose. I choose knowledge hunt activity. I chose
this activity because it is a simple but interesting. I made this activity
about the national heroes of Indonesia. I made this topic because I want to
improve students in academic skills. Also, I think almost some students forget
their heroes of Indonesia. They just learn, but now they forget the heroes.
This activity is very useful for students and also for teachers. That’s
why I encourage teachers to use this application because it is useful,
interesting and easy. Here, students can make the activity
at their schools, at home or somewhere that they want. Also, students can
make and do them with little bit time, around 1-2 days. It is depend on the
activity that they want. Here, every student can do it by themselves. They may
choose all topics they want. For teachers, they can teach their students
with this application. For example, teachers want to teach about tenses.
They can use this program to make their topics more interesting and
students are not bored. Teachers can make students want to learn more about
tenses with this program.
Actually, this is my first time I use this program.
My lecturer, Miss Priska taught me about how to use this program well. She explained it clear and well. Then she asked me to try to use
this program but before that, she wanted me to think about what topic that
I want to use. Personally, this program made me confused. What I have to
make, how I use this program, what topic that I want to make, everything
make me confuse. 2 days later, I try to make it and I can make it. Overall, I
think this program is very useful for my future.
